What |
Clearing approximately 3-metre-wide corridor of exotic vegetation (weed/scrub). Avoiding the native vegetation. |
---|---|
Why |
To provide a clearer view for the alignment of a future stormwater pipe. Currently the stormwater from Kura Lane is discharged to the surface near the top of the slope. This has over time, created some tunnel erosion (under runners) leading to sediment entering the creek and on into the harbour in rain events. |
Where |
Kura Lane to the bed of Morgans Valley Creek. Adjacent to 2A Kura Lane, Banks Peninsula. |
When |
20 May 2024 to 31 May 2024. Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 5pm (weather/site condition dependent). |
Contact |
The contractor is Fulton Hogan. Phone Nathan Peters 027 476 6144, 8am to 5pm. |
